Gentle Chair Yoga
In May of 2025 I fell and broke my hip and ankle. After having hip replacement surgery and living in a walking boot for several months, I had to learn how to trust my body again as I worked to regain movement, strength and balance. This experience led me to explore the benefits of chair yoga and now I’d like to share what I’ve learned.
Come join me for a gentle chair yoga class that explores safe range of motion and aims at increasing balance and strength. The use of chairs and props help participants to explore their edges with safety and support. Each class will offer a soothing sound bath during its final pose to deepen integration and relaxation.
No former experience with yoga is necessary, we meet you where you are.
Mats, chairs, and props are provided.
